A Farmington man was arrested Friday morning following a domestic incident involving a young child.
Dominick Andrew Wheeler, 31, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic dispute. Authorities allege Wheeler threw cold fryer oil at his girlfriend while in the presence of a 2-year-old child.
Deputies arrested Wheeler at the scene at approximately 8:53 a.m. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held for Central Arraignment Processing.
No additional details about the condition of those involved were immediately available.
