Newark Athletic Hall Of Fame Inducts Nine Honorees

Newark High School celebrated its fifth Athletic Hall of Fame induction on November 23, honoring nine individuals who made lasting contributions to its sports legacy. The ceremony, held at the Newark Elks Lodge, featured heartfelt speeches and shared memories from eight former athletes and a coach.


The 2024 inductees are Amanda Baker, Paula Allen, Jack Fisher, Dwayne Parker Jr., Todd Rohlin, Duane Lynn, Shawn Mizro, Nestor Hernandez, and Floyd Greene.

Their dedication has inspired future generations of Newark athletes. The Hall of Fame Committee thanked the community for supporting this cherished tradition and pledged to continue celebrating excellence in local athletics.
