A personal injury motor vehicle collision on Skinner Road left two individuals injured Tuesday evening, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say David Horning was traveling westbound on Skinner Road when he lost control of his vehicle, veering off the roadway and into a ditch. The vehicle overturned, resulting in a shoulder injury for Horning. His passenger, Katherine Burgess, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and sustained an upper arm injury.
Both individuals were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
The Marion Fire Department, Western Wayne Ambulance, and Wayne County ALS assisted deputies at the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
