Nature lovers are invited to a special animal adaptations event at the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The event, organized by the Seneca Meadows Education Center in collaboration with Bridges for Brain Injury, will provide participants with insights into the stories of animals that have been rescued or rehabilitated.
Hosted at the Seneca Meadows Education Center in Waterloo, the program is free and open to all ages, including individuals, families, and groups. While there is no charge to attend, registration is required due to limited space. Participants can sign up by visiting the Audubon event page linked on the Seneca Meadows website.
During the event, representatives from Bridges for Brain Injury, an organization that works with individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries, will present. The program will offer an opportunity to learn about the lives of animals that have been released or injured, as well as explore how these animals adapt to their environments.
“We are excited to welcome participants of all ages to experience this educational and engaging event,” said a representative from the Seneca Meadows Education Center. “It’s a chance for the community to connect with nature and understand the resilience of animals in our local habitats.”
