This training, a collaboration between law enforcement and mental health professionals, emphasizes de-escalation and effective communication.
Chief Timothy A. Snyder praised Officer Rumfelt’s dedication, noting that CIT training is essential for modern policing. With Rumfelt’s certification, all Seneca Falls officers are now trained to manage mental health-related incidents with care and professionalism.
