The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office hosted its first Annual Awards Ceremony, honoring exceptional service by its members.
The event, held at the Newark BOCES Center, began with inspiring remarks from Michael Donalty, Chairman of the Public Safety Committee. The ceremony recognized Corrections Officers, Road Patrol Deputies, and Court Security Officers for their outstanding contributions in 2023.
A special tribute was given to retired Lieutenant David Osborne for his remarkable 51 years of service to Wayne County. Congratulations and heartfelt thanks were extended to all honorees.
