Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that on May 17 at 11:03 p.m., a Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputy observed a suspicious vehicle at Emerson Park in the Town of Fleming, a county-owned park that closes at dusk.
The vehicle’s operator was identified as Shawn P. Reilly of Auburn. During the investigation, it was determined that Reilly was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and taken to the Public Safety Building for processing.
Reilly was released on Uniform Traffic Tickets for DWI first offense and DWI common law. He is scheduled to appear in Fleming Town Court on May 28.
