Sabres fall to Panthers in overtime

The Buffalo Sabres fell to the Florida Panthers, 3-2, in overtime on Saturday night in the second to last game of the regular season.

The two teams scored twice in the first period and then it was a scoreless until former Sabre Sam Reinhart netted the game-winner with 1:02 remaining in regulation.

Jack Quinn and Tyson Jost were the goal scorers for Buffalo (38-37-6, 82 pts). Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 39 saves, including 18 in the third period to keep the Sabres in the game.

The Sabres will try to close out the season with a win when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday at 7 p.m.
