Deputies: Ovid man charged with felony DWI after crashing into utility pole

The Seneca County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of an Ovid man after a crash on State Route 96.

According to a news release, David Galatt, 34, was arrested for DWI and aggravated DWI after crashing into a utility pole along Route 96.

The accident happened on Friday around 4:30 p.m., according to first responders.

He was taken into custody and will answer the charges at a later date.
