Penn Yan Police have arrested 41-year-old Justin J. Riemenschneider of Kent, Ohio, following a reported domestic incident in the village. According to authorities, Riemenschneider was involved in a physical confrontation with a victim, during which he forcefully seized the victim’s vehicle keys, wallet, and cellphone.
The situation escalated when Riemenschneider destroyed the victim’s cellphone and left the area using the victim’s vehicle. Later, in a turn of events, Riemenschneider voluntarily presented himself at the police department. Subsequently, he faced multiple charges, including robbery in the third degree, two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, criminal mischief in the third and fourth degree, and harassment in the second degree.
Following his arrest, Riemenschneider was processed at the police station and then transferred to the Yates County Jail, where he awaits centralized arraignment.
