Multiple ambulances were requested to the scene of a serious accident on East Genesee Street Road outside of Auburn.
The call came in around 12:50 p.m., according to our partners at the Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire. They said Sennett Fire Rescue, SAVES Ambulance, Four Town Ambulance, Auburn Fire Rescue, and Auburn City Ambulance were all requested to the scene.
Initially described as a possible head-on crash, there were multiple individuals trapped inside the wreckage immediately after.
First responders worked quickly to get them out.
Those involved in the crash were transported to area hospitals. However, exact numbers and injuries were not immediately available.
