Syracuse Mets first baseman Luke Voit made history in Lehigh Valley Friday night.
The 32-year-old homered for the sixth consecutive game, becoming the first Syracuse player since 1961 to accomplish that.

Voit, who has played in over 500 big-league games, including 242 with the New York Yankees, signed a minor-league contract with the Mets on June 11.
The veteran slugger is hitting .261/.407/.647 with 13 home runs and 33 RBI over 34 games with Syracuse.
