Syracuse holds off Florida State for second straight win

The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team closed out a game and picked up a 76-67 victory over the Florida State Seminoles at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on Wednesday night. With the win, the Orange improved to 15-10 (8-6) on the season.

Syracuse scored just 29 first-half points and trailed by six at the break but came out in the second half and outscored Florida State 47-32 to secure their second straight win.


Joe Girard led the Orange with a game-high 26 points. Jesse Edwards recorded a double-double, netting 18 points and notching 12 rebounds. Judah Mintz poured in 16 points, while Chris Bell added 10 points.
