Debra Damick was recently appointed to The Salvation Army of Geneva’s growing Advisory Board. Debra is a Geneva native and was a registered Dental Hygienist for 46 years before her retirement. For the past 39 years, Debra worked at Lake County Dental in Geneva and is currently Moderator for The Board of Deacons at the Presbyterian Church in Geneva and serves on the Nominating Committee and Chancel Guild.

Debra says she is honored to be part of The Salvation Army of Geneva Advisory Board as The Salvation Army has always held a special place in her family.

“My father told us how much The Salvation Army did for service men and women when he served in WWII,” Debra said. “He, along with my husband, have served on the Advisory Board and I’ve helped with Salvation Army Projects behind the scenes for years. Now that I’m retired, I can help even more.”

Salvation Army Captains Oscar and Aida Rolon are thrilled to welcome Debra to the Advisory Board.

“Debra will be a driving force in helping The Salvation Army continue its mission of helping those in need here in Geneva,” Captain Oscar Rolon said. “We are privileged to have Advisory Board members like Debra who care so much about the community they live and work in.”
