Farmington man arrested after admitting to breaking windows with a hammer

Deputies report the arrest of a Farmington man following investigation into an incident that happened over the weekend.

According to a news release, David Flansburg, 40, of Farmington was arrested for criminal mischief on Saturday after a criminal mischief complaint about the incident.

The victim reported that Flansburg intentionally broke windows in his residence. He was taken into custody after admitting to deputies that he broke the windows with a hammer.

Flansburg was taken to Thompson Hospital for treatment and then released to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
