A Farmington woman was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning.
According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Amber N. Forkell, 41, of Farmington for driving while intoxicated.
Deputies responded to the area of Melvin Hill and County Road 4 after report of a property damage accident. When police arrived on scene, they located Forkell’s vehicle off the highway, resting against a tree. Based on investigation, Forkell was taken into custody for DWI and also issued multiple traffic citations.
Forkell will appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
