Police arrested a woman in Canandaigua after she falsely completed paperwork.
According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kelly Goyette, 39, for offering a false instrument for filing.
Goyette was arrested after she falsely completed Section 8 housing assistance paperwork with the Geneva Housing Authoity. As a result, she obtained $664 in housing benefits.
Goyette will answer the charge in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
