The series opener between New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians on Friday night at Progressive Field has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The game will be made up on Saturday, July 2, as part of a split-admission doubleheader. Game 1 will start at 12:10 p.m. and Game 2 will begin at 6:10 p.m.
The game was called at 7:30 p.m., 20 minutes after the scheduled first pitch.
Gerrit Cole will start Game 1 of the doubleheader and Nestor Cortes will start Game 2.
