The FSIS announced that Wayne Farms, LLC is recalling their ready-to-eat chicken breast products.
There is a possibility that these chicken products are not cooked enough.
This was discovered during a product test.
There was already a recall for these products issued earlier this month.
Originally the recall was for 30,285 pounds of meat.
It has now been changed to 585,030 pounds.
The exact ready-to-eat-products included in this recall are listed below
- ALL NATURAL FIRE GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST – 5/10/22 to 4/29/23
- ALL NATURAL FIRE GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST – 5/10/22 to 4/29/23
- ALL NATURAL FIRE GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST FILLET – 3/5/23
- CHEF’S CRAFT CHICKEN BREAST FILLET – 3/23/2023
These products were distributed nationwide to restaurants.
They were also sent to retail stores in the following states
- Virginia
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
There is a possibility that these recalled items have already made it into customers and restaurants freezers.
If you have any of these items do not consume them.
Throw them away or return them for a refund.
