Police say an Ithaca woman was arrested on a felony assault charge after a domestic incident and stabbing in the city.
Jessica Mccomb, 31, of Ithaca was charged with second-degree assault.
Police were called to Fair Street for the report of a physical domestic incident. The victim was found with stab wounds to her back and evaluated by Bangs Ambulance.
However, she declined medical treatment. It’s believed that her injuries were not life threatening.
Officers arrested Mccomb at the scene. She was arraigned and will answer the assault charge at a later date in local court.
