The Tampa Bay Lightning made a trade on Tuesday that impacts the Syracuse Crunch.
The team acquired center Anthony Richard from the Nashville Predators in exchange for center Jimmy Huntington.
Following the trade, Richard was assigned to Syracuse.
Richard has appeared in 31 games with the Milwaukee Admirals this season, recording 12 points (7+5).
The 25-year-old has skated in two career NHL games, both with the Predators. He made his NHL debut December 1, 2018.
Huntington, 23, tallied 12 points (6+6) in 27 games with the Crunch this season.
Richard could make his Syracuse debut on Wednesday when the Crunch take on the Belleville Senators. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
