The January 28 advisory notice instructing residents of the Canandaigua City, Town and Town of Hopewell to boil their water has been lifted.
All of the water sampling conducted for bacteriological tests are in compliance with city, state and federal water quality standards, according to a press release from Ontario County.
The county is asking residents to share this information with other people who drink this water, particularly those who may not have received the notice directly.
