A Rome man has been arrested on 16 charges for stealing guns.
Christopher Longto, 31, of Rome, has been charged with 7 counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, one count of burglary in the second degree, 7 counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and criminal possession of a firearm.
Longto is accused of stealing five handguns, a shotgun, and a rifle from a building that he was working at in the city of Rome.
He was transported to the Oneida County Jail for centralized arraignment and was remanded on $50,000 bail or $100,000 bond.
