Two young kids left residence, wandered to Kershaw Park unattended; adults face charges

Canandaigua police arrested a city duo following a child endangerment and suspicious condition investigation at Kershaw Park.

Carmen Camacho, 51, and Tamala Moorer, 45, were arrested for endangering the welfare of a child after it was found two kids, ages 10 and 7, had left their residences on Creekview Drive and walked to Kershaw without adults.

It was determined that both were supposed to be under the supervision of the 45- and 51-year-olds.

The children were found on Eastern Boulevard and returned home. Both of the adults were arrested and released on appearance tickets.
