Canandaigua police arrested a 73-year-old city man for disorderly conduct and obstruction after a disturbance at a business on Eastern Boulevard.
According to a news release, it was determined that Gary Cook, 73, of Canandaigua was harassing customers inside a store, which was not identified by police.
He was advised by police and security that he wasn’t allowed at the store. That’s when he walked in front of a moving car, causing the vehicle to slam on its brakes. He then struck the hood of the vehicle.
When police tried taking him into custody – Cook resisted, resulting in the additional charge.
