Gas prices have been fluctuating due to Hurricane Ida

On a national level gas prices are dropping, but for states and local areas, it is rising in some places.

According to AAA, the national average per gallon of gas is $3.15, which is down one cent compared to last week.

Right now the New York State average is $3.23 per gallon, up one cent from last year.


Syracuse has gas at an average of $3.18 per gallon.

Gas prices were changing over the weekend due to Tropical Storm Ida.
