People testing positive for the virus don’t want to admit to who they’ve been in contact with

As the new variant spreads, many counties are expressing their concern over having trouble contact tracing.

Cayuga County is still trying to convince residents to get the vaccine, but the health department also appears to be hinting at the fact that they do not believe contact tracing is being done correctly.


People are testing positive then don’t want to say who they’ve come into contact with.

As Onondaga starts to face similar issues, County Executive Ryan McMahon wants to bring back executive orders.

He wants a severe penalty for people choosing to not cooperate with case investigations and calls the behavior “unacceptable.”
