An Auburn man has been arrested after a weekend fire, which stemmed from a domestic incident.
According to police, officers and firefighters in the city of Auburn responded to 35 Kensington Avenue around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Smoke was coming from the structure, but because the suspect was thought to be inside- a perimeter was established. It was later learned that the suspect fled the scene.
Charles McEneany, 36, of Auburn was charged with felony arson and strangulation after investigation determined that the fire was connected to a domestic incident at the property.
The home suffered minor damage, according to first responders.
