Midlakes High School is facing serious allegations of bullying and sexual harassment.
A new lawsuit reported by 13WHAM-TV this week claims that a student with learning disabilities, referred to as Janie Doe, was physically attacked multiple times by six other girls.
Janie’s attorney, Morgan Levy, stated that the abuse included posting her address online, leading strangers to show up at her home.
Janie has been hospitalized five times for mental health issues since the assaults began in November. She has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
The district told 13WHAM-TV that it takes bullying seriously.
