The reading program at the Tompkins County Public Library began this past Saturday.
Programs for kids, teens, and adults will continue through August 7 and have outdoor and virtual programs, games and prizes.
A grant provided by the Bernard Carl and Shirley Rosen Library Fund of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County made the 2021 Summer Adventure Program a possibility.
Teens in grades 6-12 can register at the library to earn a free book and after completing the summer reading calendar can earn another free book or enter a raffle for gift cards and prizes.
Adult programs can be found on the library’s website and participation can earn tickets for a prize drawing in August.
