The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Savannah man following a burglary investigation.
Deputies took Mason Steen, 19, into custody after it was reported that he and another individual forced their way into a residence in the town of Savannah.
It was alleged that Steen was in possession of a handgun during the burglary and fired a round into the victim’s vehicle tire.
He was subsequently charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The charges will be answered at a later date.
