Deputies say a 37-year-old Arcadia man was taken into custody after the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigated a child abuse complaint.
Robert Siler Jr., 37, was charged with first-degree sex abuse after a complaint was received by the New York State Child Abuse Hotline.
The complaint alleged that inappropriate contact was made with a 12-year-old female victim. It’s further alleged that he was naked in the shower with the 12-year-old and subjected her to sexual contact.
A stay away order of protection was requested and investigators say the incident occurred in October 2019.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
