Police in Ithaca say they are investigating a shooting that happened at a hotel in the 400 block of S. Meadow St.
Officers responded to the area of the hotel, which happened around 10 p.m. on Monday for the report of shots fired.
They began searching for victims, witnesses and evidence. One subject was found, who had been shot.
That individual, who was not identified, was transported to a regional trauma center for treatment of their injuries.
