As much of Central New York faces parts of life shutting down with “yellow” and “orange” zone designations, there’s something staying open.

Syracuse Athletics announced the Men’s Basketball season opener with Bryant set for Friday (3:00 p.m. ACC Network) is on.
There was some doubt surrounding the game after Jim Boeheim and one Orange player tested positive for COVID-19. Boeheim has since gone through quarantine and is back to work at the Melo Center.
The team is still on pause but anticipates returning to action for 2-3 days of practice before taking on Bryant Friday.
