Police: Canandaigua man arrested on felony charges after domestic incident

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 31-year-old following an investigation into an incident that was reported on September 14th.

Police say Daniel Cupp, 31, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Both of the charges are felonies.


Cupp was said to have been involved in a physical altercation with a victim who had a stay away order of protection against him.

After being processed Cupp was turned over to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
