CMAC cancels 2020 season, looks forward to 2021

CMAC has cancelled the 2020 season due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the 2020 CMAC summer concert series has been canceled. We want to thank you for your friendship, patience and understanding as we have navigated these unprecedented times,” officials with the venue announced on Thursday.

They said the safety of staff, artists, community, and fans remain the top priority for CMAC, so holding concerts this year wasn’t reasonable.

“Over the next year, we will be working hard to implement the necessary enhancements at CMAC to ensure we can be back with all of you rockin’ out bigger, better and safer than ever in 2021,” the statement continued.

Most cancelled shows will be rescheduled or rebooked in 2021, officials said. They said those who purchased tickets could go to cmacevents.com to check for an email form from Ticketmaster.

Tickets purchased through that platform will be refunded directly. For resale tickets sold on Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster will refund the original ticket purchaser’s account. For customers who purchased tickets through another resale platform or distribution partner, the customer will need to seek a refund from such resale platform or distribution partner.
