Sheriff: Man stole lawn mower, other items from Home Depot

Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that on May 14 around 8:52 p.m., Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office investigated a larceny complaint at the Home Depot in the Town of Aurelius. Adrian M. Endsley, from Lacona was identified as the suspect.


Endsley reportedly loaded his cart with a push mower, paper towels, and toilet paper, then left the store without paying. The Auburn Police Department assisted in identifying Endsley, who had also stolen items from a location in Auburn earlier that evening. Endsley was arrested by Auburn Police and later taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Office.

Charged with petit larceny, Endsley was processed and brought to Cayuga County Jail for CAP court arraignment. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Aurelius Court at a later date.
