This week Finger Lakes Community College announced that it would be expanding its online catalog of workforce development training offerings during the pandemic. It’s a move that workforce development professionals, like Mike Woloson, of Finger Lakes Works, believes is an important move for the community.
He says that while there will be plenty of focus on aligning and enhancing skills after the pandemic ends, the current moment provides an interesting opportunity to retrain, if not working in the traditional way. It’s even something that can be beneficial for those who have some extra time on their hands.
