Hours of operation shortened again at grocery stores amid COVID-19 pandemic

Wegmans stores have made the unprecedented move of further reducing operating hours — in an effort to stay on top of the COVID-19 outbreak.

All stores, regardless of which state they are in, will be adjusting their hours to 7a.m. – 10 p.m.

These hours are in effect now. Stores had already been operating under a 6 a.m. to midnight time-frame.

The change is active until further notice. Check below for the latest known hours.

“This will help ensure associates are able to stock the products our customers are looking for and to perform cleaning and sanitizing,” Dacona Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Walmart U.S., wrote in a blog post.

Target locations are giving seniors and those with disabilities an extra hour to shop. The first hour the stores will be open are exclusively for the elderly.

Hours Closed List (will be updated)
