  • Staff Report

Federal aid is now available for those affected by last July’s flooding in Ontario County and nearby areas. The US Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest loans to help with recovery.

Homeowners can apply for up to $500,000 to repair their primary residence, while homeowners and renters can get up to $100,000 to replace damaged property. Eligible business owners and non-profits can receive up to $2 million to replace lost property, inventory, and equipment, or to maintain working capital until normal operations resume.

For more information, contact the NY SBA’s customer service center at (800) 659-2955.
