State police say a Seneca Falls man is in custody being held without bail after being arrested with 14 pounds of raw cannabis.

Michael Gladis of Seneca Falls was arrested by State Police on Wednesday, May 22, on multiple cannabis-related charges following a traffic stop near the NYS Thruway in Amsterdam.

Gladis faces charges of first-degree and second-degree criminal possession of cannabis, two counts of second-degree criminal sale of cannabis, and a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, police discovered over 14 pounds of raw cannabis, more than three pounds of concentrated cannabis oil, numerous cartridges containing concentrated cannabis oil, and a large amount of money in his car.

He was processed at the State Police station in Fonda, arraigned at Amsterdam City Court, and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail.
