Sheriff Tim Luce reports that on Tuesday around 6:08 a.m. deputies responded to 3123 Clyde River Drive for the report of a structure fire.
That fire was reported on Tuesday, as several departments arrived on-scene.
Upon arrival of deputies, they found the structures at the northernmost end of the property on fire. The structure was evacuated, and the property owner – identified as Kathleen Weir, of Pennsylvania – was transported to Auburn Community Hospital for smoke inhalation.
Multiple agencies are working through investigation. Luce says the Seneca Co. Fire investigation Team, NYS Office of Fire Prevention and Control, and state fire officials were all called to assist.
The cause is unknown at this time.
First responders from Magee, Junius, Canoga, Waterloo, Clyde, Oaks Corners, Finger Lakes Ambulance, North Seneca Ambulance as well as the Seneca County Coordinators responded.
