Lyons man charged with felony burglary, contempt after Christmas Eve assault

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man on an array of charges following a domestic incident, which unfolded on Geneva Street on Christmas Eve.

Anthony Hall, 47, of Lyons who had been arrested on February 10th for violating a stay away order of protection – was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, first-degree criminal contempt, and criminal obstruction of breathing – following the Christmas Eve incident.

Deputies say Hall violated a stay away order of protection – stabbing a female victim after he forced entry into her apartment.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says the woman was stabbed with a fork and bladed instrument during that violent incident.

Hall was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was to be arraigned in CAPS court on all charges. He will appear in Town of Lyons court on February 18th to answer the charges.
