Canandaigua man arrested for fourth-degree stalking

Deputies arrested a Canandaigua man this week following a stalking investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Christopher A. Vanderwall Jr., 39, was taken into custody on July 14 and charged with stalking in the fourth degree.

The arrest followed a harassment complaint filed on July 10 at the sheriff’s office on Ontario Street. The alleged incident occurred at 47 John Street in Geneva.

Authorities transported Vanderwall to the Ontario County Jail, where he awaited arraignment in CAP court.

Deputy Outhouse led the investigation.
