The Ontario County Republican Committee is celebrating a historic moment with five women running for town supervisor positions across the county in the upcoming election.
The candidates—Meghan Fuller (South Bristol), Kris Singer (Canadice), Laura Abplanalp (Bristol), Ruth Smith (West Bloomfield), and Roslyn Grammar (Seneca)—were honored during a recent event in support of Fuller.
“These women are working to ensure safe, strong communities—today and for future generations,” said Committee Chair Trisha Turner. “I couldn’t be more proud.”
New York State Senator Pam Helming praised the slate, calling them “proven leaders” who understand the importance of affordability and public safety. Assemblywoman Andrea Bailey echoed that support, citing their “energy, experience, and leadership.”
Also endorsed by the committee are Judge Kitty Karle, running for New York State Supreme Court Justice, and Stefanie Barnes for Ontario County Judge.
Early voting for the general election runs from October 25 through November 2. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4.
