Canandaigua driver ticketed after fiery crash at busy intersection

Deputies say that a Canandaigua woman failed to yield the right of way, which caused a fiery crash at the intersection of State Routes 96 and 332.

Chrstiane Norman, 79, of Canandaigua was taken to Thompson Hospital by Victor-Farmington Ambulance where she was treated for minor injuries.

Her vehicle burst into flames after colliding with another car. Firefighters from Farmington put out the blaze.

Deputies say that the other driver was checked at the scene and released.

Norman was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
