Volunteers dive to cleanup the marina in Watkins Glen as summer ends

A lot of stuff ends up in area waterways by the end of a busy summer season.

In Schuyler County, a local group worked their hardest to clean up the Watkins Glen Village Marina.

They worked last week to ensure that the waterway would be free of major debris, which could have an impact on the ecosystem – if left unchecked.

Their efforts were applauded by local officials and residents alike.
