Victor firefighters quickly contained a shed fire Tuesday evening with help from neighboring departments.
The Victor Fire Department was dispatched shortly before 8 p.m., along with mutual aid from the Canandaigua, East Bloomfield-Holcomb and Farmington fire departments.
Crews knocked down the fire using water carried aboard the responding apparatus.
Incident command then canceled the Canandaigua and Farmington departments after determining their assistance was no longer needed.
Firefighters established a water supply from a nearby hydrant, and the scene was declared under control in about 10 minutes.
No injuries or additional property damage were reported in the department’s initial account.
