Keuka College will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 17 to mark the soft opening of a new rural outpatient health clinic intended to expand local services and provide hands-on learning for students.
The clinic is not yet open to the public but is expected to begin offering outpatient counseling and occupational therapy services in the near future, according to the college.
The ceremony is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. at Keuka Commons, 506 Assembly Ave. in Keuka Park. College leaders will give brief remarks before the ribbon cutting.
Attendees will be able to tour the facility after the ceremony, and additional information about the clinic and its planned services will be available at the event.
Keuka College said the clinic is designed to address community health needs while giving students experiential learning opportunities as they prepare for health care careers.
