The unfinished steel structure at the former Conesus Inn property remains under estate ownership and has not been sold, according to News10NBC.
The East Lake Road site has stood incomplete for about a decade after neighbors challenged whether the replacement structure matched plans approved by the town in 2015.
Conesus Town Supervisor Don Wester said court delays, including changes in judges, have contributed to the lack of progress.
The property belonged to developer Carl Myers, who died in 2022, and is now controlled by his estate.
Current zoning makes it unlikely the property will return to use as a restaurant or other commercial business, with future residential use considered more likely.
